Our approach to custom products

Our clients are individuals placing private commissions – architects, interior designers, builders and developers, and home renovators.

We develop an idea or theme put to us by the client, be it in an early formative stage or as a refined design, and progress the idea into a workable design that can be created.

We are able to create any design, contemporary or classical, and can access an extensive range of exotic timber species both new and reclaimed to meet the individual’s special requirements.

The client’s input at all stages ensures that the end result matches their requirements as closely as possible.

Establishing the client’s requirements

Our starting point is to establish, as clearly as possible, the requirements of the individual. We can explain what can be done, and cost-effective alternatives that meet the client’s budget as well as put forward ideas to ensure a design is developed to best effect. An estimate of cost will be provided at this stage.

Development of initial designs

Initial designs are drawn up and presented to the client. Any changes can then be identified and incorporated into final designs. A final cost of work is given at this stage.

Upon approval of the final design, our craftsmen undertake the work within a time frame agreed upon with the client. From exterior to interior products and components to complete joinery, as well as installation, you will find our professional approach to be rewarding and the end result to be all that and more.

We can manufacture MDF, NZ Clear Pine, Vic Ash, and Jarrah, as well as any exotic timber available on request.
